MicksGarage was glad to contribute to TV3's Business Matters Show yesterday. They had a good segment about the success and international potential of online businesses in Ireland. If you didn't see it, you can catch up on it here.

Best Christmas Gift Ireland

Tuesday, 17 November 2009 06:51 by Mark

It's official, the Seecode Vossor is going to be the best Christmas gift in Ireland this year. People are shopping early and the Seecode Vossor hands free car kit is the most popular Christmas present so far, they're already flying off the shelves. The Irish Times blog has a good piece on it and Ciara has clearly tested it well - her word of warning demonstrates that! I've been driving with the Seecode Vossor for several months now and it is by far and away the best gadget i've ever put into the car. And the Seecode Vossor car phone kit means I wont be getting any penalty points for using my mobile phone in the car.

In terms of handfree bluetooth carkits the Seecode Vossor is certainly one of the best we have come across in MicksGarage. We're giving away a free Seecode charger with each one so you can charge them up at home. The Vossor is now at version 3 ( Vossor V3 ), so also comes with multi-pairing. It doesn't require any installation or installers so it is pretty much plug and play. It is suitable for all phones with bluetooth, Nokia, iphone etc.

Christmas gifts

Wednesday, 11 November 2009 04:56 by Mark

It's that time of the year again and while it may not feel festive yet, online retailers like MicksGarage are already geared up for Christmas. We have our Christmas page up already, although there will be some additions such as our Handsfree Bluetooth products . Last year for Christmas we actually sold out of our seat covers and the Haynes Build Your Own Engine so be warned! The Haynes Engine is a brilliant present for anyone interested in cars, engines or just interested in a few hours fun and education with the kids (over 10 years old) over the Christmas period.

Have you always wanted to own a VW camper van but just dont have the cash at the moment? well then check out our Haynes radio controlled camper van (or the mini).

Have you always wanted to do a bit of tinkering on the car but just don';t know where to start? Then check out our Haynes car DIY manuals. We've got them for practically every model of vehicle.

We also have some nice pressies for the ladies this year, with our new pink seat covers and the Iqua bluetooth earpiece.

So remember, get your orders in early. While we do have next day delivery, we can't guarantee that all of these items will be in stock closer to Christmas.

couple of things...

Thursday, 5 November 2009 09:55 by Mark

The Sunday Business Post had a good article in their Computers in Business magazine last weekend with advice for businesses setting up a website. The article is up on the web here. It was also very nice of them to mention MicksGarage as a great website.

By the way, I found this great website with tutorials on digital marketing. Well worth a look.
