Motorbike Taxis

The Irish Times Motoring today has an interesting piece on motorbike taxis in Paris, which journalist Conor Twomey explains are a highly effective way to get across the city in rush hour traffic. Currently used mostly by wealthy executives (its not cheap - 35euro minimum), the motorbike cab has actually been available in Paris since 2000. And you get to travel in style - Conor Twomey travels (pic below) on a Honda Gold Wing. Traffic in Paris is almost as bad as in Dublin - so could we see a motorbike taxi soon in Ireland??
